SABA-CO serves both the interests of South Asian attorneys as well as the larger community through substantive programming and community outreach. This year, SABA-CO’s Gala will feature traditional dance performances from CU Bhangra, recognition of this year’s Service and Leadership Award winner Dr. PJ Parmar of Ardas Clinic, and introduction of our inaugural SABA-CO Cornerstone Award to our first recipient Judge Neeti Pawar.

After-Event Fun

Join us next door at Wah Gwaan Brewery (925 W 8th Ave) for after-event drinks and socializing. Wah Gwaan is a Jamaican-inspired craft brewery with beers inspired by Indo-Caribbean flavors.

Dress Code

The dress code is South Asian or Western Cocktail. SABA has always encouraged our members and guests to wear Indian formal attire but no need to buy anything new if you do not own any Indian attire! 

Seating

All guests attending will receive assigned seating at reserved tables for dinner.

Parking

Free, onsite parking is available at the Local 9 parking lot (990 Kalamath Street) from 5 PM to 7 AM the next day.

Award Information: 

Service and Leadership Award - Recognizes a person or organization that promotes diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and representation in the judiciary, combats efforts to limit or marginalize the South Asian and immigrant communities, or promotes access to justice for South Asian and other immigrant communities. 

Cornerstone Award - Awarded to an attorney whose work and service demonstrates significant contributions to the South Asian and broader legal community in Colorado.
